「学生外交グローバルネットワーク」はデジタル時代に生まれ、グローバル社会に生きる私たちだからこそ提案できる、新しい国際教育プログラムです。
実際に子供達がインターネット電話を使い、スクリーンを通して顔をお互いに見ながら共同授業を行います。最初は、自己紹介やお互いの国の紹介、簡単な質問などをします。これだけのコミュニケーションだけでも、子供達の目はキラキラと輝きお互いの違い等に驚き、興味関心を持ち始めます。お互いのことを知り得たら、お互いにテーマを持った質問やディスカッションをします。例えば、平和について、いじめについてなど、テーマは様々です。そして、プログラムが終わった後の子供達は、様々なことに気がつきます。語学の重要さや世界へ興味を持つきっかけとなり、なによりも海外に「友達」ができたことにより外語学学習意欲が高まります。私もそうだったのですが、子供には外語学学習を勉強から入るのではなく、楽しい！と思えるモチベーションやきっかけ作りが大切なのです。
私達にできることは、未来ある子供達に選択肢を与え、世界という扉を開くきっかけを与えることです。そこから決めるのは子供達自身です。この学生外国グローバルネットワークはグローバル社会の中に生きていかなければならない、競争していかなければならない、日本の将来を大きく変えることのできる多くの可能性を秘めたプログラムだと思っています。
WHAT WE DO
Initiate Global Diplomacy
GSDN will match your school, classroom or special group with a similar group from Japan and other countries that share the
same objectives of a GSDN exchange.
We will help you set-up our video exchange platform (normally on Skype) and work with you to fine-tune agendas, student
objectives and a pace that will be exciting for students without overwhelming them, or you. You will be assigned a GSDN
Ambassador who will work with you to create your student delegation and introduce them to the world of diplomacy. Many of the terms, positions and formalities are immolated from the real world of global diplomacy, which adds a sense of pride and importance to the process.
Our programs can continue for years and progressively become more exciting, complex and challenging. With summer exchange programs to look forward to as a way to bring Global Student Diplomats together in person.
